Melissa Markgraf

Melissa is an Indirect Tax Manager at Baker Tilly, specialising in VAT advisory and compliance services. She advises domestic and international businesses across a broad range of industries on the VAT implications of their operations and helps clients enhance their VAT processes and reporting obligations. Melissa also supports tax compliance reviews and due diligence projects across the firm.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Melissa worked in a boutique tax firm, gaining experience across both accounts and tax. Her work included preparing management accounts and financial statements, as well as advising on VAT, personal tax, payroll taxes and corporation tax.

Melissa is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of the Irish Tax Institute (ITI).

She joined Baker Tilly to gain exposure to a firm with a global network while maintaining the people-focused culture of a smaller organisation.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys sewing, reading and travelling, with a particular interest in exploring new places and cultures.
