Tips to help you prepare
Your interview is your chance to show us the real you. Share what you stand for, what motivates you, and where you want to go next. Being genuine helps you create meaningful connections and leaves a lasting impression. Do not try to be who you think we want you to be. We value fresh perspectives, and your experiences can bring that.
Wherever possible, use real examples from school, university, part time work, or other experiences to show how you handled different situations and what you learned from them. It can help to structure your answer like a story. Start with the situation, explain the challenge, describe the actions you took, and finish with the outcome and what you learned. If you need a moment to collect your thoughts, that is completely fine. Remember, the people interviewing you have been in your position before, so they understand what it feels like.
Give yourself enough time to get to your interview. Arriving a little early allows you to relax and feel prepared before you start. Being punctual shows that you are organised and helps you make a positive first impression.
Before the interview, take some time to learn about our STAR values and think about how you align with them. We do not expect you to know everything about the qualification you will be studying for, but having an idea of what it involves shows you are serious about the role and ready to commit.Â
There is no need to buy anything new. Choose something professional and presentable while avoiding anything too casual. The most important thing is that you feel confident and comfortable. When you feel at ease, it will help you stay relaxed and focused during the interview.
