How Baker Tilly are responding to the outbreak of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in Ireland

Following our review of the evolving guidance from the HSE and Government, we have implemented a policy response to safeguard the health and safety of our team members, their families, our clients and the community.

This will mean that in the short-term, we will be restricting client meetings to those which are absolutely necessary. We will be engaging with clients and contacts mainly by email, telephone call and video conference.

However, from a business continuity perspective, we expect work to flow as normal and our IT infrastructure has always allowed for remote working. In this regard, we are satisfied that we are well prepared to deal with the short-term challenges that the virus presents.

In the meantime, it is business as usual for the firm, with no impact on our ability to continue to provide our usual client services in what will be a testing time for many businesses. To deal with these challenges, the government has announced an extensive package of business supports.  You may be able to take advantage of some of these supports.

Should there be any matter that you wish to discuss regarding the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch as normal with your usual contacts in Baker Tilly.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you, your family and your business all the very best during this unprecedented time.
