Leading audit, tax, restructuring and EIIS firm, Baker Tilly has announced a merger with Barr Pomeroy, a Dublin based tax, audit and accountancy practice founded by Marie Barr and Michael Pomeroy in 1989. The merged firm will continue under the name Baker Tilly. The news of the merger comes less than a year after the global, unified rebranding of all member firms of the Baker Tilly International network.

Alma O’Brien, Head of Tax of Baker Tilly will be joined by Marie Barr in the fast-growing Baker Tilly tax department, adding to the firm’s restructuring and EIIS expertise.

The merger increases staff numbers in Baker Tilly on the island of Ireland to over 130 across its offices in Dublin, Enniscorthy and the network member firm in Belfast.
